I have always loved to travel whether crossing parts of Canada by “plane, train and automobile”, swimming with Dolphins in Costa Rica, or just chilling on the beach in St. Lucia.

My family has been Port Stanley for six generations so sharing our rich history with others is a passion of mine. On my Heritage Walking Tour, I share our “Cony Island past" to the present. There are lots of tales to tell. Some are in history books some are not there yet.

Having lived and worked in four different Provinces, P.E.I., Alberta, B.C. and Ontario, including the two busiest tourist destinations in Canada, Banff and Niagara Falls, I love show casing all Canada has to offer. From the red soil of P.E.I. to the Rainforest on Victoria Island there is no end to what you might around find around the next corner in this magnificent country we call home.

I had the joyful experience of living in the Costa Rican rainforest in Drake Bay on the Osa Peninsula for eighteen months in “the most biologically intense place on earth”, as quoted by National Geographic. Now I want others to experience the beauty and spirit of not only the land and wildlife but the people who live life with the motto “Pura Vida”.

When not busy volunteering I can be found along Canada’s South Coast Birding Trail in spring and fall, and camping during the summer. It is even more fantastic to go beyond our backyards to watch “the locals” across our great country where there is no end to adventure, beautiful scenery, and friendly people, but also to other countries to explore all of which have their own unique memories just waiting for you to make your own.
